An 81-year-old Democratic strategist went on a podcast this week, called the President of the United States a “fat” obscenity, threatened to investigate his “stupid jackass kids and their spouses,” and then predicted Trump would be impeached, forced to resign, and hauled before an international criminal court. James Carville did all of this while cackling like a man who just discovered espresso at a nursing home.
Somebody check on the Ragin’ Cajun. We’re not sure this is what “aging gracefully” looks like.
Carville appeared on the Politicon podcast and delivered what can only be described as a profanity-laced hostage video filmed by his own ego. “Listen to me Trump,” he snarled. “I’m going to tell your fat [expletive] something. You’re getting ready to get the living crap kicked out of you.”
Strong words from a guy who looks like a skeleton wrapped in beef jerky.
But Carville wasn’t done threatening the president. Not even close. He promised that after Democrats win the midterms (his assumption, not ours), they would launch a full-scale investigation operation. “The Democrats are going to investigate you to no end,” he said. “Then they’re going to go after your stupid jackass kids and their spouses and all of the bullshit that you see, and they’re going to investigate the shit out of you.”
James Carville openly lays out the House and Senate Democrats’ “Get Trump” strategy:

So the plan is: win an election that hasn’t happened yet, then use congressional power to go after a sitting president’s adult children and their spouses. Not for crimes. Not for evidence of wrongdoing. Just because Carville has “Trump Derangement Syndrome” — his words, not ours. He literally said “I got Trump Derangement Syndrome” and added that he doesn’t want to get rid of it.
At least he’s honest about it. Most of them pretend it’s “principled opposition.”
Political consultant James Carville foams at the mouth as he has an unhinged meltdown over President Trump.
“I got TDS. I hate the motherf*cker and you know what? I don't want to get rid of it. I don't want to get better. I want to get worse!”

The threats kept escalating. Carville predicted Trump would be “impeached in 2027,” claiming Republican senators “can’t stand” Trump but are stuck supporting him “because of their politics.” He estimated only “43 to 45” Republican senators would remain after the midterms.
Then came the grand finale. Carville claimed Trump is “getting really, really, really close to war crimes” over Iran and is “probably going to cross the line.” He predicted Trump would eventually “figure out, I gotta get the hell out of here,” cut a deal, resign, and have JD Vance pardon him. But — and here’s where the fantasy gets truly cinematic — Carville reminded Trump that “they can’t pardon you for state crimes. They can’t pardon you in the International Criminal Court.”
The International Criminal Court. For a president enforcing sanctions. We’ve officially entered the fan-fiction portion of the Democratic Party platform.
Carville also promised Trump would know what it feels like to be “punched in the mouth by Mike Tyson.” Coming from a man who weighs roughly as much as one of Tyson’s gloves, the metaphor lands a little differently than he intended.
Here’s the thing nobody’s saying out loud: this isn’t some random podcaster ranting in his basement. This is the guy who engineered Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign. He’s still connected. He still talks to Democratic leadership. When Carville says “Congressman Jeffries and Senator Schumer, they’re going to go down to the White House,” he’s not guessing — he’s previewing.
The White House responded through spokesman Davis Ingle, who called Carville “a stone-cold loser.” Which is accurate but also probably the nicest thing anyone’s said about the man in a decade.
We’ve watched Democrats promise to “get Trump” for nine straight years now. They impeached him twice, raided his home, indicted him four times, and tried to throw him off the ballot. The result? He won the presidency again. So naturally, their next play is to threaten his kids on a podcast hosted by a man who admits he has a derangement syndrome and doesn’t want it treated.
Keep talking, James. Every time Democrats show voters what they’d do with power, more people vote the other way.
